Herbal Offerings ∞

Some of the words for medicine in Michif, the Métis language, include Mhaskigi, Maskihkiya, and Askipasan.

As Christi Belcourt writes in her book Medicines to Help Us, “within each word is an innate awareness of the life force that is generated from Mother Earth and gives plants their power to heal”. In this way, plants offer us a beautiful path towards the story of interbeing. As we reconnect with our relationships to plants, and learn to befriend, use, and trust their healing power, we bring medicine back to the people ∞

Herbal offerings are made with love in small batches and available in-person at our Farm Store.
