Pasture Makes Perfect Beef

We raise 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef. Raising cattle is a huge commitment for a farm of our scale, but we’ve chosen to have cattle because of the critical role they play for our 3R’s of relationships, regeneration, and resilience.

When cattle are 100% grass-fed and rotationally grazed they help build soil, which leads to carbon storage and clean water. Not to mention that they provide us all with a nutrient-dense and flavourful source of real food, and are gracious souls on the farm.

Cattle’s role in ecology

We have a small herd of grass-fed cattle that help regenerate our pastures through managed rotational grazing.

Grazing signals plants to slough-off roots and excrete root sugars, which soil microbes use to feed plants and build soil organic matter. Manure and urine returns fertility to the soil.

Beef Availability

Our herd is small and availability of beef is not regular.
